The presence of mold, yeast and mushrooms indicates the unsuitability of the product for use, experts explain. The fact is that mold is the strongest toxin from the category of aflotoxins. Scientists are sounding the alarm, since, accumulating in the human body in large quantities, this hepatocarcinogen causes irreversible pathologies of the liver and other organs.

“Mold has a detrimental effect on protein synthesis,” the researchers explain. “As a result, toxins kill the liver cells and are embedded in their place as a greasy cork.”

In addition, aflotoxins can trigger the development of cancer, experts emphasize and recommend that all connoisseurs of real coffee prefer a natural drink made from freshly ground beans and be wary of choosing a soluble product.
