JSC "Lactis", located in the village. Pizhanka, Kirov Region, modernized milk production by launching a PET bottling line. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture.

According to Kotlyachkov, Kirov residents recognized milk as one of the most sought-after products. The region is ahead of all regions of Russia in milk consumption. The leader in the field of milk production.

The number of cows in agricultural organizations of the region in 2019 increased by 1.7 thousand and amounted to 88.7 thousand heads. The gross milk yield in the region is 663 thousand tons or 103.3%. Over 90% of milk is produced in agricultural enterprises.

But no farm can be profitable without selling its products. In Pizhansky district, milk is produced and processed, as well as providing the market with quality products.

Until now, products from Pizhanka were packed in plastic bags, but recent studies of consumer sentiment have indicated the need for immediate modernization of production.

According to Alexander Smirnov, General Director of Lactis JSC, customers are increasingly interested in bottled milk. This prompted the management of the enterprise to acquire the necessary equipment.

New equipment allows to produce about 1.5 thousand bottles per shift. Thus, the company intends both to satisfy consumer demand and to increase the market for the product.

JSC "Lactis" has an almost 90-year history. Today, the factory employs over 100 highly qualified employees.
