In 2019, India produced more than 7,000,000 tons of shrimp and exported more than 620,000 to the United States, the European Union, Japan and China. Production is carried out from an area of about 1.70,000 ha of shrimp farms along the coast of the country, with Andhra Pradesh making the main contribution - more than 40,000 tons.
Sriram Ravvi, Eruvaka Technologies software developer, decided to find a solution to the inconsistent shrimp crop problem in Guntur County, Andhra Pradesh.

“He states that in some cases, the missed calculation is between 20 and 50%.” Therefore, I decided to tackle this problem. On approximately 1,000 ha of shrimp farms located in Surat, Goa, Andhra Pradesh and Pondicherry, his company software was installed.
