Agrarians of the Karsunsky district of the Ulyanovsk region started the process of harvesting on cereals, legumes and vegetable fields of the region. Together with them, farmers of the Novospassky district also joined the campaign.

Such information was shared by representatives of the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. The department also noted that in the coming season, the peasants of the region will have to harvest from six hundred and fifty-four thousand hectares.

It should be noted that the sowing area of ​​the so-called industrial crops is over two hundred and fifty-four thousand hectares. And the territories occupied by the cultivation of potatoes exceed an area of ​​one and a half thousand hectares. As for the land with vegetables, their indicator is about one thousand seven hundred hectares.

It is known that the agrarians of the Ulyanovsk region were ready to enter the harvesting process one hundred percent. And in 2019, at least two thousand combines will be involved in the agricultural territories of the region.

It will also not be amiss to add that today the Ulyanovsk region has seven and a half thousand units of special equipment for various agricultural work.

Of these, about four thousand are tractors. And the share of trucks is more than one and a half thousand. As for beet harvesting machines. Here we are talking about forty units.
