In the open spaces of the Saratov region today, employees of twelve enterprises are directly involved in the process of poultry farming.

Eight of them focused on egg production. One of the poultry farms produces meat products. And three more enterprises are pedigree reproducers who work in the meat direction.

By common efforts, the employees of the above organizations managed to bring to the market over two hundred forty one million one hundred thousand eggs in the period from January to June this year.

The lion's share of production - about sixty percent of the total regional output of commodity eggs - was provided by employees of the Saratov-Ptitsa company.

As for the meat industry of the poultry industry, representatives of the Mikhailovskaya Poultry Factory company, which provide ninety percent of the total production indicator of the Saratov region for the first half of 2019, did a great job here.

In total, from January 1 to July 1, 2019, the region launched over twelve and a half thousand tons of poultry meat onto the market.

The Tsarevschinsky-2 factory, which is located in the Baltai district, is rightfully considered to be the leader in the production of breeding broilers in the region. The Vozrozhdenie-1 enterprise from Tatishchevsky district is only slightly inferior to it in terms of performance.

And the third place in the production of breeding broilers deservedly goes to the Zavolzhsky Poultry Factory, which is based in the Krasnokutsky District of the Saratov Region.
