For the first time in many years of history, an outbreak of such a serious disease among the local livestock of cattle as nodular dermatitis was recorded on agricultural land in the Novosibirsk region.
It is noteworthy that the virus primarily overtook cows on the farm in the Tatar region. And henceforth, the conditions of the quarantine regime officially apply to the entire area, starting from the village of Konstantinovka, where a disinfection barrier has already been built.
It should be noted that nodular dermatitis affected sixteen local cows, the total number of which is one hundred on the affected farm.
It is reported that infected cattle were operatively isolated and are currently receiving medication. In the very near future, animals will be vaccinated with a special vaccine and will return to the usual conditions of the herd.
It is not superfluous to add that calves and adult cattle in the affected area will also be vaccinated.
By the way, nodular dermatitis also affected cows of the Barabinsky, Chanovsky and Zdvinsky districts. In total, the virus killed forty-five heads of cattle. Today, new cases of infection are not recorded.
