In the first six months of this year, representatives of the meat-processing industry of the Tambov region entered the top five all-Russian leading workers.

Such information was shared with a wide audience by representatives of the public relations department of the Federal State Statistics Service.

In addition, the department emphasized that workers of farms of all categories in the region launched over two hundred fifty one thousand tons of meat on the market from January 1 to July 1, 2019.

It is noteworthy that experts have already made forecasts regarding annual production indicators - according to analysts from the agro-industrial complex of the Tambov region, regional butchers will be able to put out at least five hundred and fifty thousand tons of products by the end of the year.

It will not be superfluous to note that at the moment there is a hot construction time in the open spaces of the Tambov Region - on the initiative of the Rusagro group of companies, a large-scale pig-breeding complex is being built, which will be able to produce about sixty-five thousand tons of live weight products annually.

It is important to add that the poultry industry of the Tambov region does not stand still. In particular, the Tambov Turkey company intends to increase the amount of investments in order to increase the pace of poultry meat production in the region by thirty thousand tons per year.
