Zootechnology LLC (Kherson region) in 2019 plans to launch a fattening workshop by 6.3 thousand heads and increase the number of sows by 30%.

This was announced by the director of the enterprise Julia Zhelnio. According to her, today the company has 2326 sows.

The company intends to increase the number of sows to 3 thousand sows, which will make the economy more influential in the market, said Julia Zhelnio. She also noted that industrial pig breeding in Ukraine is a profitable business.

According to Yulia Zhelnio, profitability consists of a team of professionals, modern technologies for keeping, the genetic potential of animals, as well as strict and working systems of biosafety measures.

Julia greatly appreciates the cooperation with the Association of Pig Breeders of Ukraine, whose members give advice to the household on optimizing feeding, improving conditions, as well as technological processes and biosafety measures.

By introducing all these tips into the production process, the company makes pig farming profitable and the final product high-quality, said the director of Zootechnology LLC.
