One of the most prestigious Moscow universities will seriously engage in the preparation of agricultural ambassadors.
As the rector of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, this university has always been actively involved in the training of specialists from the field of foreign economy:
“We keep our finger on the pulse of the Russian economic market and are confident that we need to make every effort to educate professionals in the field of promoting domestic producers of agricultural goods and services on the world agricultural market,” concluded Anatoly Torkunov.
I agree with the rector and the head of the Ministry of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev. In this regard, he spoke at the Academic Council of MGIMO, where he presented the prospects for cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture and the university in training specialists to promote Russian products on foreign markets of farmers.
Employees of the ministry emphasize that at the moment it is not possible to increase the export of goods and services in the agricultural sector until 2024, if you do not strengthen the support of the industry with a specialized system. And the training of qualified personnel as well. In particular, we are talking about representatives of the profession "Attache for Agribusiness." In the near future, they will present agricultural enterprises of the Russian Federation at key sites of world exports.
Next year, a department established by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation will begin its work at MGIMO, which will train specialists in the profile “International agrarian markets and foreign economic activity in the agro-industrial complex”. Students who receive diplomas in this specialty will be able to further represent and promote Russian agricultural products in foreign markets, and will also be able to work in government bodies and in related business sectors. Students of this profile will also have the opportunity to learn rare foreign languages, gain knowledge from the field of the agricultural sector and practice using business tools in modeling atypical and common situations in the agricultural sector.
Analysts are sure that international ambassadors on issues of the agro-industrial complex will certainly reduce the material and time costs of agricultural enterprises, pouring into the foreign arena.
