In the very near future, participants in the agricultural production of the Russian Federation intend to begin shipping corn and wheat to the Kuwait market.
Such information was shared with the general public by employees of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance. The ministry also emphasized that today, Russian producers export only small deliveries of barley to Kuwait. However, domestic farmers do not intend to dwell on current indicators.
The Russian side has already shared its interest with partners from Kuwait, voicing that it would not be against increasing external supplies of cereals.
Interlocutors of potential suppliers from the Russian Federation were employees of the State Service for Agriculture and Water Resources of Kuwait. They announced that they were ready to consider expanding cooperation with Russia.
In addition, Kuwait promised to send its official sanitary and other requirements for the quality of grain products to Russian producers in the very near future.
In response, representatives of the Rosselkhoznadzor will provide Kuwaitis with documents that guarantee the high quality of grain and its food safety.
