The fours from Kilklonfert celebrate their fifth birthday with their favorite lambs, Bubbles, Bessie, Chloe and Frosty.
Brothers James, Charlie, Tom, and Luke Kelly received the animals as a birthday present from their aunt, Lianne Kelly.
Earlier we wrote about how to protect sheep and little lambs from ticks.
It was the sheep that became the first cloned mammal in the world, back in 1996. She lived 6.5 years and gave birth to 6 lambs.
Adorable lambs will not fall on anyone's plate, as they were born just 2 days before the boys' birthday.
The likelihood that four lambs are born together is very low at approximately 1: 400.
Kelly said it is very rare that all four animals remain alive. She added that she is beginning to suspect that there may be something in the water that contributes to the birth and survival of a large herd.
- Sheep, like other animals, require quality care, as they are susceptible to various types of diseases, infections, as well as insects, which harm them and sometimes cause unpleasant outcomes.
- Diseases affecting sheep negatively affect not only the general health of animals, but also adversely affect their productive qualities, growth, and fertility.
- In order for the lambs to grow properly, they need to get proper nutrition from the first hours of their life.
