Representatives of the Rosselkhoznadzor in the framework of the main session, established by the World Organization for Animal Health, met with Singaporean colleagues and veterinary experts from South Korea.

The meeting was marked by negotiations on the supply of Russian meat to the Korean and Singaporean markets. We are talking about beef, as well as poultry and pork.

Foreign delegates, on behalf of their states, expressed extraordinary interest in establishing trade relations in the meat industry between the Russian Federation and the countries mentioned.

As a result of negotiations, all parties came to the conclusion that in the near future the Rosselkhoznadzor employees will send fact sheets to Singapore.

In turn, the Singapore side undertakes to provide its own objective opinion on the compliance of Russian meat products with their sanitary and veterinary requirements.

As regards interactions with the Korean side, one can safely say that very soon Russia will invite experts from South Korea to its meat processing enterprises in order to conduct an audit and determine an assessment of the epizootic situation in the country.
