On the lands of the Grakhov district, in Udmurtia, the construction of a new dairy farm began. This is the 4th farm of this type in the republic, the regional ministry of agriculture reports.
The investment project is implemented by Vylnud Limited Liability Company. The farm began to build in the early summer of this year.
Now the workers are finishing mounting the frame, and the commissioning of the object is planned for the third quarter of 2020. It is noteworthy that a new modern farm is being built on the site where it was old.
According to the head of the enterprise Vadim Usoltsev, 280 goals will be kept in the barn. Four robotic milkmaids will “live” right there. Only 4 people will be needed to service the complex.
To increase the milking herd, by 2020 the company wants to acquire 150 heads of breeding heifers. It is expected that this will increase milk production to 8.7 tons per day by the end of the year, and the increase will exceed the mark of 126%.
According to the reporting data, now the gross milk production in LLC Vylnud is equal to 6900 kg. per day. From each cow here they receive 19.1 kg. Currently, the livestock of cattle farms is 838 heads. Of these milk cows - 360.
