Not so long ago, livestock breeders of the Amur region conducted an experiment on the basis of one of the breeding plants of the Blagoveshchensk district.
The experiments consisted of working with a sexed seed of cattle, which allowed herders to determine the sex of the future livestock even at the stage of fertilization. As a result, the experiment turned out to be so successful that Amur researchers acquired three and a half hundred packs of sexed seed in order to continue experiments with the future livestock.
Note that, as part of the experiment, the experts were able to obtain young animals from only females from the control group of young animals. All the heifers were born healthy, developed in accordance with their age and showed the same indicators, habits and addictions as the calves that arose from ordinary seed in a natural way.Experts emphasize that the ability to pre-determine the sex of the future livestock will allow those herders who are involved in the work of dairy farms to minimize the birth of males and increase milk yield.
According to representatives of the State Administration of Veterinary Medicine and Pedigree Livestock Breeding in the Amur Region, today the process of fertilizing Amur cows with sexed seeds takes place in a specially equipped breeding reproducer of the region, which is called "Ray". In the near future, one and a half hundred cows will pass through the procedure of experimental insemination.
