Representatives of the agricultural sector of the Tyumen region to date have completed more than fifty percent of the sowing of crops and legumes scheduled for the current year.
The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation noted that at the moment, Tyumen agrarians planted more than 416 thousand hectares with grain. In the coming days, field workers will have to plant a little more than four hundred thousand hectares in order to fully implement the plan for sowing grain and legumes in 2019.
It should be noted that employees of the agro-industrial complex department of the Tyumen region analyzed the work of their fellow countrymen-agrarians and came to the conclusion that this year the sowing of grain, as well as industrial crops, potatoes, beets and other plants with a high probability will be completed by the deadline set by agricultural experts.
It is not superfluous to add that in the twenties of May 2018, the farmers of the Tyumen region managed to sow different spring crops with only thirty-two percent of the planned area.
The reason for the delay in the past year was adverse weather conditions, which impeded sowing and did not allow Siberian farmers to fully reveal their "spring potential".
