The main arguments "against" the cultivation of Asian beans, Ukrainian farmers call the absence of zoned varieties. Those varieties imported from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan do not tolerate the climate of the main territory of the country. Acceptable conditions for their cultivation are only in the south of Ukraine. Spring frosts of the plant are poorly tolerated and some of them die. Steppe and forest-steppe zones are not very suitable for growing munga. A good harvest can be obtained from it only in sultry years. If the summer is cool, the beans do not ripen, the pod is not full enough.
