According to scientists, today at least 5% of the industrial herd of chickens has gout. This leads to the culling of a significant amount of meat products due to substandard kidneys, liver and heart.
Most often, the disease is triggered by factors such as a violation of microclimatic parameters, including high humidity and low air temperature in the houses, lack of exercise, poultry content on wet litter, increased salt content in the feed, feeding of feeds affected by mycotoxins or contaminated with microorganisms.
The degree of immune defense decreases against the background of metabolic disturbances in the bird. This provokes the development of secondary immune deficiency conditions. You can find out how to avoid the spread of gout in the industrial flock of birds and what measures should be taken to minimize damage from this disease at the International Practical Forum Poultry Farming, which will be held on April 10-11 in Lviv.
During the festival, Professor Grzegorz Tomczyk from Poland will talk about the diseases of chickens and teach them prevention and treatment. In addition, poultry farmers will be able to learn how to make sure that chicken eggs do not have anomalies in appearance and arrive at the buyer absolutely clean.
