The group of companies "Niva Pereyaslavschiny" from the Kiev region began the spring sowing campaign with spring barley.

It is planned that the crop will occupy 2.2 thousand hectares of land, the farm said. "Niva Pereyaslavschiny" uses barley as a feed crop for fattening pigs, especially bacon.

“The temperature of emergence of seedlings in barley is one of the lowest, it will not be so infected with diseases, because at this temperature microorganisms still do not develop. We have a week to complete the sowing of barley, ”said Stanislav Koshel, director of crop production of the company. The company has already completed fertilizing winter crops such as rapeseed and wheat, S. Koshel added.

For information, the Niva Pereyaslavschiny group of companies has been successfully operating on the lands of 23 rural councils of the left-bank part of the Kiev region for 20 years now. At the beginning of its activity, the agricultural company had 500 hectares of land, and now the area of ​​cultivated arable land is 23 thousand hectares.

The agricultural company is engaged in crop production, animal husbandry, charity, environmental issues. The company completely abandoned the use of natural gas by building 10 boiler houses using biofuel from straw.
