Andrey Kaprin heads the Association of Freelance Oncologists of the Russian Federation under the Ministry of Health. And recently, he shared with the public his thoughts on what foods can cause the development of cancer.
It is noteworthy that among the noted food items there were also farm products, supplied in abundance to the Russian market from domestic villages.
So, according to Kaprin, one of the most dangerous products for the health of Russians is red meat, which is widely represented on the market. We are talking about beef, pork, lamb and other types of meat products.As an oncologist notes, the use of such products in excessive quantities is highly likely to entail the development of irreversible changes in the body.
According to Kaprin, red meat with the same probability can cause cancer as fatty foods, intensive and uncontrolled consumption of alcoholic beverages, as well as food with flavor enhancers and nutritional supplements in its composition.Often such “chemistry” is supplemented by farm products, including yogurts, kefir, sour cream, sausages, as well as meat and fish delicacies.
According to experts, when choosing farm products, preference should be given to buying goods at certified and reputable retail outlets with an environmentally friendly and organic assortment.
