Every Ukrainian knows that Kherson region is a land of juicy tomatoes and watermelons. And according to the new head of the region, Yuri Gusev, processing should become the new brand of the Kherson region.
So, Chumak, which sells processed products, has already become one of the brands in the Kherson region, Gusev said.
He added that there should be more such companies in the region, both Ukrainian and foreign. The main thing is that they will create new jobs, pay taxes and develop the business potential of the Kherson region.
According to the governor, he already had a meeting with an adviser to the Chinese Embassy. He expressed hope for an influx of foreign investment in the economy of the Kherson region, whether it be Chinese or American partners.
Gusev also noted that his main goal as the head of the region is to attract honest investment. According to Yuri Gusev, attracting foreign investment in the region should be simplified as much as possible.
First of all, we are talking about processing, creating the necessary infrastructure and minimizing barriers to entry. Investors who create jobs and pay taxes, and also realize the importance of the agricultural industry for the Kherson region, should feel the support from the Ukrainian side.
Recall that earlier Gusev announced the launch of a pilot platform for direct communication with the population under the name “chatbot of the Kherson Regional State Administration” or in other words “HuberBot”.
